Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards (ARTA) is the most prestigious celebration of British Asian cuisine. ARTA is giving the public a voice to nominate their favourite restaurants & takeaways across all regions of the UK.

Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards is a movement in the hospitality sector. It is the only official Curry Award that recognises, promotes and celebrates the immense importance and popularity of the South Asian catering industry in the UK, as determined by its consumers.

In the coming year, it will engage with hundreds of thousands of customers and thousands of restaurants via technology partners and a national marketing campaign, giving the public a voice to nominate their favourite Indian takeaways and restaurants when they share the consumer experience across the marketplace.

The definitive guide to food and drink in Cheshire

At Taste Cheshire our job is to connect you with a real “Taste of Cheshire”. The best independently run restaurants in Chester and Cheshire, that superb local pub that goes out of its way to offer home cooked food sourced from local suppliers, outstanding food and drink festivals, of which our county has more than any other and a wealth of incredible local producers and farm shops.

Visiting our site means you are finding the places and products that the locals know about. You are engaging with events that make being in Chester and Cheshire a special experience and above all, you are in the heart of the County of Food and Drink – Cheshire.

Our natural produce is world-renowned and rooted in history. Cheshire Cheese is Britain’s oldest named cheese. It dates back to Roman Britain and gets a special mention in the Domesday Book of 1086. In the 16th century Cheshire cheese was reputed to be the best cheese of Europe and was a favourite at the Court of Elizabeth I – that’s some pedigree.

You’ll find a superb choice of places to eat and drink from a Michelin star restaurant to an idyllic country inn throughout the region. The Chester Grosvenor is only one of four restaurants in the UK to have been awarded a Michelin star consecutively for the past 22 years. In addition, it is one of only a small number of restaurants in the UK to be awarded 4 AA Rosettes.
