Philip Young of Countrywide Ground Maintenance Cheshire is celebrating his recent accolade of being named Franchisee of the Year 2019 by Neighbourly, the world’s largest franchisor of home service brands focused on repairing, maintaining and enhancing homes and properties.
Philip was presented the award at Neighbourly’s European annual Reunion held in Manchester on Friday 29th March in recognition of his outstanding commitment, performance and consistently going above and beyond expectations. The business, which has been trading for 14 years, has 26 employees across Cheshire.
Philip Young, Countrywide Ground Maintenance Cheshire, added:
“I am overwhelmed to win this award and it is great to receive the recognition for our achievements over the past 14 years. It is a huge endorsement for me both personally and professionally and confirms that I have made the right decision to hand over the reins to my son, Tim, who has now been with the business for 18 months and is already proving to be a fantastic asset. Countrywide Cheshire is not just about me – we have a fantastic team of office staff and groundsmen who are continually delivering a world class service to our customers and a fantastic supportive family, so without them, we would not be celebrating this success today. I would also like to thank Neighbourly, who has invested both time and money into the brand and provided me with the support and infrastructure needed to thrive.”
James Kelly, Chief Operating Officer for Countrywide Grounds, selected Philip Young as the winner for 2019, adding:
“Philip is the ideal franchisee and I’m so proud that he is part of our network. He exemplifies the kind of franchise owner that we look for across our industry, delivering on our Code of Values as well as inspiring new franchise owners into the business. Philip is continually looking for ways to stand out with his clients and this shows with his strong brand engagement and outstanding growth performance.”
