Bollington-based tyrZ for Tyres is celebrating a successful five-year sponsorship with the highly-regarded Macclesfield Youth Brass Band, by renewing its agreement for another year.

The family-run business has loyally worked with the local registered charity as ‘Gold Sponsors’, and has now gifted a generous donation to extend its partnership and continue to support the budding-musicians of Macclesfield.

Macclesfield Youth Brass Band currently has 120 members aged between 7 and 19 years old, and consists of a Youth Band, a Junior Band and a Training Band. Tutors and helpers provide their time and expertise on a voluntary basis, with the determination to further the brass band tradition in a way that attracts and inspires the youth of today.

The monetary donation from tyrZ supports the operational costs of the brass band, helping with instrument purchases, and travel costs for the many events and national competitions which they enter.

Owner of tyrZ, Andy Ritchie commented:

“We are overjoyed to have extended our partnership with the Macclesfield Youth Brass Band. It’s a great organisation that I know many young, local, children thrive from being a part of, even our own! We look forward to continuing to support them further this year.”

Louise Renshaw of Macclesfield Youth Brass Band added: “We are extremely grateful for the support of tyrZ. Their generosity allows us to provide the best experiences for our members, helping to keep them motivated and committed to their hobby.”

tyrZ is open Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm.

Located on Henshall Road, Bollington, tyrZ offers both a drive in and mobile service. Equipped with the latest state of the art Hunter Hawkeye Elite alignment system, as well as high end tyre fitting and wheel balancing equipment, tyrZ is able to cater for all vehicle types.
