A team from UK Container Maintenance has triumphed at the annual Masters of Waste Scotland golf tournament, securing the much-coveted first place trophy.
Held at Trump Turnberry in Ayrshire, the tournament, now in its fourth year, saw seven teams from the waste industry compete. The winning team which included UKCM’s Sales Director, Richard Delooze, Factory Director, Ben Connett, Robert Hall and Kenny Smith scored an impressive 105 points, seeing off the second place team, who scored 99 points.
Golfers competed for the team and individual trophies over 18 holes on Turnberry’s Robert the Bruce Course.
UK Container Maintenance’s Sales Director, Richard Delooze commented, “It was great to see familiar faces from the waste industry and enjoy the camaraderie of the competition, which was topped off by our UKCM team winning the tournament!”
