Halton’s businesses will be able to shout about their successes and be recognised for their achievements again in this year’s Halton Business Awards. Halton Chamber of Commerce is again hosting the Awards which are celebrating their tenth anniversary.

The Chamber is now accepting applications from local organisations across all business sectors. With Metro Mayor, Steve Rotherham attending the celebratory, glittering gala dinner arranged for 18th May 2018.

Rachael Owen, Chief Executive of Halton Chamber of Commerce said:

“The Business Awards are a celebration of all the great work I see throughout the year and across the Borough. They recognise and reward excellent performance, good business practices and promote Halton organisations to our wider business community. The Awards are open to all Halton based businesses and with a breadth of categories and multiple entries encouraged, there are plenty of opportunities for all.   The Awards include marketing, customer service and exporting as well as independent retailing, manufacturing and a ‘green business’ award. These are in addition to the prestigious Entrepreneur, Young Achiever/Apprentice, New Business of the Year awards – and of course the highly coveted Halton Business of the Year.

The Halton Business Awards are widely recognised and winning one can bring a business real, tangible benefits.  An award can be a catalyst for growth, not just in the kudos it brings and the increased profile, but also the message it gives to potential customers, which can increase sales.”

Richard Bamber, Managing Partner at Anthony’s Travel one of last year’s Halton business awards winners said:

“As a Halton, family owned company, Anthony’s Travel was delighted to be a winner at the Halton Business Awards.  Receiving an award from the local community really mattered to us and was a great honour.  What was noticeable, particularly on the night of the awards, was the diverse range of companies of all sizes within Halton that are doing amazing things.

Steve Tilbrook, the Chamber’s event organiser for the awards says:

“The Halton Business Awards have become one of most acclaimed business events in the region. The number of businesses entering just keeps on rising, the range of winners widening and the quality of entries is fantastic. Winners come from sole traders to larger, household names. There really is something for everyone!”

The awards are free to enter and open to all Halton based businesses that have been trading for at least 6 months. Businesses wishing to enter the awards which culminate in May with a glittering presentation evening can do so by visiting www.haltonchamber.co.uk
